Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?

Coppell Texas pediatric dentist Hazbun

I became interested in the dental field towards the end of high school, participated in dental mission trips in college, and decided I wanted to pursue a profession in dentistry to build long-term relationships with patients in a positive environment while helping them establish healthy dental habits from an early age to promote their overall health throughout their lifetime.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M College of Dentistry and continued at Texas A&M College of Dentistry to complete a residency in Pediatric Dentistry where I served both healthy and special health care needs patients at the dental school, Children's Health, and Scottish Rite for Children. This advanced training included academic and clinical experience in pediatric sedation and hospital dentistry. During residency, I gained real-world experience while working as a general dentist on the weekends with a focus on the pediatric population.
